OUR PROCESS

1. LETS GET ACQUAINTED

The first step is a 20-minute discovery call where we get to know each other. We’ll learn about your unique travel style, preferences, & priorities; discuss your vision for this specific journey; explain how we work; and answer any questions you might have. Following our call, if we feel that we are the right match for each other, we’ll ask for a planning fee to get started and get to work curating your special trip!

2. RESEARCH, CURATION, & ITINERARY DESIGN

From here, taking all of the information you’ve provided, we’ll get to work developing an inspired itinerary that matches your vision for this special journey. We’ll do extensive research, collaborate with local partners, and apply our expertise about places, properties, experiences, and logistics to curate our suggestions and provide you with ideas that we think you you’ll love!

3. CONFIRMATION & FINESSE

After you’ve reviewed your custom itinerary, your comments will allow us to further fine tune and tailor until we are confident that we’ve got it right. With your approval, we’ll get busy with confirmations and ask for a deposit to lock in hotels, guides, and transfers while we continue to finesse details like dining reservations, spa bookings, and concierge arrangements.

4. TRIP PREP & RECONFIRMATION

Before take-off, we’ll reconfirm each component of your journey. Depending on your travel dates and the complexity of your trip, we’ll ask to schedule a call to review your itinerary and ensure you feel informed, prepared, and excited for your upcoming journey.

5. TAKE-OFF & POST-TRAVEL

While en-route, both Sojourn and our local on-the-ground partners will monitor your travels and remain available to support you throughout your trip. When you get back, we look forward to receiving your feedback and hearing your travel stories!

    We chose South Africa for our honeymoon. With no time to plan, Sojourn took away all the stress, creating a seamless and incredibly special trip.
